BROAD CAPABILITY

The expertise of our staff coupled with the comprehensive range of facilities produces a department capable of a wide variety of work from small precise batch work to larger pieces up to 5 tonnes.

 

WELDING

Our welding facilities are second to none. Our welders are assessed to BS EN 287.1 and we have made large investments in MIG, TIG and Manual Arc equipment. We have particular specialist skills in welding non-ferrous metals. The department undertakes the fabrication of pressurised vessels to stringent specifications from mild steel, stainless or aluminium.

 

VIBRO-STRESS RELIEVING

We have Vibro-Stress Relieving facilities in house. We have the ability to undertake Non Destructive Testing to dye penetrant PCN Level 2.

 

SHEET METAL WORKING

Our 4000 square foot department contains brake presses, rolls, guillotine and spot welding equipment.

FLEXIBLE MACHINING

Our machining department can machine small individual precision items through to larger items weighing up to 5 tonnes.

 

DIVERSE MATERIALS

Ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as plastics and composite materials can be all be machined in the unit.

 

 

Our conventional machining equipment is matched by our CNC

machinery facilities. Our inspection department works closely with

the shop floor during all stages of production to ensure that we always meet the stringent quality control standards and procedures.
